Well, you just need a firmware update to your PS3 to enable this (which I think will be available soon). You can do this as long as the PS3 and the PS Vita is connected to the internet and I think you really need a fast internet to enjoy playing PS3 games on your PS Vita. Here's a video of Killzone 3 on the PS Vita after the break

Breaking: Kindle Fire arriving in the Philippines
In my last post, I told you that Widget City will be selling the Motorola RAZR XT910 aka Motorola RAZR Droid soon. Last night, our partner just announced that they'll be selling Kindle Fire, a Dual core tablet from Amazon which is very affordable. The price? well, it is just below the P20k mark. It is even below 15k!. Anyway, this tablet won't be using the Android Marketplace instead, it will use the Amazon Marketplace which has a tons of apps too. Anyway, you can start pre-ordering at their site at http://widgetcity.com.ph/. Just contact them and you can get it at PHP13,800 only. I'm still wondering if the Amazon services will work on the Philippines, but I think you just need to set up some proxy so that you can download apps and other things to your kindle fire

Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc Specs, First Impressions and Price in the Philippines

| Sony Ericsson Xperia Arc S Lockscreen |
I believe that Sony Ericsson phones are one of the most optimized phones in Android. Xperia Arc is purely made up of plastic which makes the phone light and not-so-durable feel. The camera was great especially at low-light. The Mobile Bravia Engine was excellent, it improves the quality of pictures and videos on the 4.2" display but when transferred to PC or Mac, it just go back to the original quality of the picture. Watch out for the review soon on JAM Online!. For the meantime, join our Euroo Speaker raffle!

OMG Deals!: LG Optimus 2x for P15,800
Widget City, my favorite online store, offers a lot of cheap gadgets especially smartphones. One smartphone catches my attention. Why?. Because it is a dual core smartphone which is below the 20k mark. Interesting huh?. For months, I've been recommending Widget city to my readers because they offer a cheap price for smartphones and yet they offer a 1 year warranty at their store. Anyway, Dual core smartphones are on the rise for the past few months. They are faster than any single core processors and they are capable of recording and playback 1080p videos. For P15,800, this is the cheapest dual core phone that you can find

Blackberry Curve 9380 Specs and Price in the Philippines
A new Blackberry curve has been announced at Jakarta, Indonesia yesterday. Unfortunately, I wasn't invited for that event (Yeah, I wished I was included). Anyway, Blackberry Curve 9380 is the first BB curve phone that doesn't have a QWERTY keyboard and uses a full touchscreen keyboard. It has a 3.2" capacitive touch screen (smaller than the iPhone). I don't have an issue with that since the Blackberry Curve line are the most affordable blackberries out there. It has an optical trackpad just like the other Blackberry curve. It is powered by a 806 mhz processor with 512 mb RAM and it has a 5 megapixel camera. Not bad my friends.

Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray SHORT Review -- A day at the Cemetery
![]() |
| The Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray's Homescreen |
I was able to have a hands-on of the Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray during the holiday. Well, it is not a long hands-on but it is just a first impression because I just played this cellphone for hours not days. Anyway, Sony Ericsson Xperia Ray is just like the smaller version of the Xperia Arc. The Xperia Ray’s screen size is 3.3” which is a bit small if you think compared to smartphones these days. Most smartphones that we see in the market ranges from 3.5”-4.3” and even some of them reach 4.7” like the HTC Titan and there is a 5.3” like the Samsung Galaxy Note who is still confuse whether he is a phone or a tablet. Even though the 3.3” is a bit small for you, I think this one fits okay right for me.

Cherry Mobile Candy and Candy Chat Specs and Price in the Philippines -- Android for the masses
Last 11-11-11, Cherry Mobile also announced their newest Android phones in their lineup. Yes, there are a lot of Android devices including tablets that was introduced last friday. The two phones that got my attention is the Cherry Mobile Candy and Candy chat. Why?, because they use Android OS but they still manage to have a price lower than P5,000. Interesting right?. Obviously, this phone targets the youth who wants to have a smartphone OS. Even though the CM candy phones have a 416 mhz processor, I felt that this phone is still swift compared to Cherry Mobile Orbit that I reviewed a month ago. Oh and did you know that I played Angry Birds on the Candy Chat?, Yep it can handle that one. Anyway, if you're planning to buy a Cherry Mobile phone, I suggest that you pick these two. Why?, because Android has a lot to offer. I assure you that you'll love Android.
HTC Sensation XL Specs and Price in the Philippines
I'm a bit disappointed because they drop the dual-core processor and it has a lower WVGA resolution. They should've made it to 540 x 960 resolution or even a 720p resolution. Anyway, it can record 720p videos and not 1080p (yeah thanks to the single core processor). And again, just like the HTC Titan. The HTC Sensation XL is great for people who loves to use their phones for shooting images. It has 8 Megapixel camera with BSI sensor for low-light conditions with f2.2 aperture. Oh and there is a 1.3 megapixel camera for video call on the front too.
I recommend this phone for people who loves music and people who are rooting for a giant phone. Oh and those who love Android and camera.

Nokia N9 Launched! -- Meego gone wild!
The twin brother of the Nokia Lumia 800, the Nokia N9 was finally launched here in the Philippines. It was last Wednesday when Nokia Philippines launched their newest flagship phone. The Meego OS, the buttonless screen and the scratch-resistant curve glass are just some of the interesting unique features of the Nokia N9. I know, some of you might be thinking what Meego is. It is just a brand new OS from Nokia which they decided to dump in favor of the more powerful Windows Phone 7. If you ask me about the WP7 OS. Yes it is great. The ecosystem was excellent but they need more apps and games to fill in the marketplace, especially the free ones. Anyway, back to Meego. I haven't tested the Meego personally (Yep, I missed the launching because of my Calculus class). All I can say is that the OS is dead on arrival. Nokia killed it already. If you want a lot of apps and games then I don't recommend this one for you. But if you're a camera junkie, the 8 megapixel Carl Zeiss lens won't fail you. It has a better aperture than the iPhone 4S. Anyway, if you want to pre-order a Nokia N9 just visit this link.

Timbre Gitara headphones this December 2011
A local brand name Timbre (pronounced as Tam-ber) is about to release their first headphone this December 2011 (Yep, just in time for my birthday). They called the new headphone as "Gitara", if you don't know how to speak in tagalog, Gitara is tagalog term for Guitar. The interesting part here is that Timbre team up with Team Manila to design this thing. I think they want to take on Beats. I would love to review this one soon. Anyway the SRP is currently PHP2,499. Waaaaay more affordable than the Beats headset.

Euroo EMS-3000 Review
This will be the review of the second speaker that I borrowed a week ago. This is the Euroo EMS-3000, a better speaker than the one I previously reviewed, the EMS-2000. The EMS-3000 features a more modern design. The design of the body reminds me of our couch. And just like the EMS-2000, this speaker is dedicated for PCs, Macs, Tablets and MP3 players

Samsung Galaxy W Specs and Price in the Philippines
Yesterday I announced that Widget City will be selling their Galaxy Note for P36,400. Today, a store just announced their price for the Samsung Galaxy W, the successor of the Samsung Galaxy Ace. Oh and W means Wonder (kinda weird for me). The specifications of this phone is quite good for a midrange phone. This phone is powered by a 1.4 GHz processor which is capable of recording 720HD@30fps at the 3.7" WVGA TFT LCD (yes, no Super Clear LCD or a Super AMOLED here). Android Gingerbread runs this phone, no word regarding upgrade to Ice Cream Sandwich. For complete specifications, just read the Tech specs sheet below11/01/2011
BREAKING: Samsung Galaxy Note 16 GB unofficial SRP is P36,400
Almost a month ago, Samsung announced the Samsung Galaxy Note. IT fills the gap between a smartphone and tablet. Galaxy Note features a 5.3" HD Super AMOLED, yep a 1280x800 resolution on a 5.3" screen. Some of the interesting features in Galaxy Note are digital S pen stylus and S memo where you can right your notes and memo using the Stylus. Anyway, Samsung Galaxy Note unofficial SRP here in the Philippines is expected to be at P36,400 which will be available soon at Widget City. If you want to know more about the Samsung Galaxy Note click here.
HTC Titan Specs and Price in the Philippines -- HTC thinks that your Galaxy SII is too small
Do you think that your Samsung Galaxy S2 or HTC Sensation is too big for your hands?, then think again because HTC just offered the largest Windows Phone 7 right now, the HTC Titan. You know, HTC thinks that your 4.3" smartphone is too small so they created a giant phone again. This time, the Super LCD screen measures 4.7". I don't recommend this phone for heavy texters especially for those people with small fingers. I already find it difficult to text in portrait using one hand on a 4.3" screen. I always use the landscape QWERTY mode to text on that screen that large. Anyway, this phone has a single-core processor compared to the dual core processor of its Android cousin, the HTC Sensation. You might be wondering why they choose that processor, maybe because Windows Phone 7 limits the use of only a single core processor. I think you should wait for Windows phone 8 or Apollo update before you can see a dual-core processor Windows Phone. Oh and did I say that this phone has a great camera?, yeaaaah! f2/2 my friends!, you can now replace your busty point and shoot cameras!
