Intel said that Ultrabooks are the future. Those ultrabooks will soon be Macbook Air's competitor and this one is Acer's first ultrabook which is expected to be announced on IFA 2011. The ultrabook looks plastic and it will sport a second-gen intel processor. It has different slots including memory card reader at the side, USB and HDMI at the back. It's nice to see that Sony Ericsson still continues the Walkman line of phones especially when they use the Android OS on it. Too bad they only use Eclair. BTW, this is the first Android Walkman phone. If they can make more Android Walkman phones with better specs, maybe they can get a share from Nokia Xpressmusic family of phones since most people believed that Android OS is way better than the aging Symbian OS.

Ever thought that your 4" phone is too big for your hand?. Then think again, Samsung will be announcing a new phone at IFA 2011 at Berlin this September 9 that is way bigger than the Samsung Galaxy S II, Samsung I9250. This phone will have a 4.65" Super AMOLED HD with 1280 x 720 resolution (Samsung Galaxy S II has 4.3 Super AMOLED Plus with 800 x 480 resolution). That resolution is even bigger than some netbooks available around the market right now.

Nokia C2-03 was announced back at Nokia Connections 2011 at Singapore. This phone features a Dual-Sim easy swap just like the Nokia C2-00, You can easily swap SIM cards without turning off the cellphone. This phone also belongs to the Touch & type family. Nokia C2-03 has a 2.6" resistive touchscreen with sliding keypad. It uses a resistive screen so there is a possibility to use a stylus. Nokia C2-03 also uses the square circle icons which was also used on the Symbian Anna.

TV5 iPad and iPhone App Demo

 Last August 1, TV5 and MMDA launch the MMDA traffic navigator system which I blogged about a few weeks ago.  The Metro Manila Traffic Navigator system is the country’s first ever digitized traffic information system that lets motorists and commuters view the traffic situation around the metro in real time over the internet.

The Traffic Navigator provides the public an overview of the traffic situation on EDSA, C5, Quezon Avenue, Espana, Roxas Blvd. and SLEX. They can check via system view, line view or on Google maps. I prefer line view because it is very easy to find the street that I’m looking for but if you are the guy who isn’t familiar with the streets around the metro, I suggest that you use the Google maps view.

The first thing that came to my mind when I received the package was what are the apps (especially games) that I can install in it.
