Last weekend the NBA All-stars went to play with our own Filipino players at Smart Araneta Coliseum. And one of those All-star that played here is the 6’9” guard/forward Kevin Durant of Oklahoma City Thunders. And during that time, SMART wasted no time getting KD35 as an endorser for Smart Bro.  Just like SMART Bro, Kevin Durant shares the same qualities that made them leaders – dedication, determination and drive.

And speaking of SMART Bro, Smart undertook a network modernization and enhancement program to improve the service this year. Alongside enhancing the current network, SMART Bro also works to upgrade the customers’ Internet experience with an aggressive roll out of HSPA+. With about 150 sites up in areas nationwide, HSPA+ will be launching very soon the Bro Rocket Plug-it, which is capable of speeds up to 12 mbps under optimal conditions

SMART Bro also aims to deliver the ultimate mobile broadband experience that’s why they introduce the SMART Bro Evolution on its own LTE network (Yes, it runs on the 4G Radio technology). LTE can potentially reach speeds up to 100mbps when fully upgraded.

I’m still wondering where can we find those HSPA+ sites. I also want to test Smart Bro rocket and Smart evolution personally if they really offer the speeds that we demanded. Since Kevin Durant endorses this brand, I think it can attract KD35 fanatics out there. Nice move getting Kevin Durant, SMART!

Samsung Galaxy S II was one of the successful Android phones this year and now, Samsung has finally announced the cheaper version of the Samsung Galaxy S II, The Samsung Galaxy R. Samsung Galaxy R will be equipped with 4.2" SC-LCD and a Tegra 2 chipset compared to SGSII's 4.3" Super AMOLED screen and Exynos chipset which is superior than this one. It will also have a 5 Megapixel camera with 720p video recording while the Galaxy S II is equipped with 8 Megapixel camera which is capable to record 1080p video. But still, the Galaxy R can still play 1080p videos

Thor was one of the Marvel superhero movies that was released this year. I didn't watch this in the cinemas but I have seen it in the bus (yeah pirated, thanks ceres). I enjoy watching it and I believe that the movie was successful because it grossed $437 million worldwide. Chris Hemworth is expected to return in this movie. Natalie Portman is not yet sure and the director will not return anymore. Thor 2 is confirmed for July 26 2013. That means, it'll be 2 years from now

My mom loves Eat Bulaga so much. She was even surprised when I texted that Vic Sotto will endorse the Dual sim Phones of Nokia. I was surprised when I turned on the TV and saw that it is Nokia Day on Eat Bulaga. From the opening number till the show ends, Nokia was emphasized so much during the show.
