Samsung Series 9 Notebook: PC just got Sexy

Samsung Series 9 Notebook
Samsung Philippines recently launched their sexiest notebook yet -- Samsung Series 9 Notebook at The Peninsula Manila, Makati last March 22, 2011.

Many celebrities and the most stylish people came together that night for the launching and arrival of the sexiest notebook, Samsung Series 9 Notebook. Rajo Laurel, Randy Ortiz and Rhett Eala. The three highly respected fashion designers gathered that night to showcase their collections which was inspired from the Samsung Series 9 notebook's top features of being the lightest, thinnest and the brightest.

The 13" Series 9 is the Samsung's thinnest notebook measuring only 16.3mm (0.64 inches) which is thinner than the Macbook Air. It is also the lightest with a weight of only 1.31 kg (2,88lbs.) and the brightest -- using only the Samsung's LED technology: 'SuperBright Plus' display (400nit) on its 13" screen with 16 million color reproduction 80% brighter than other notebooks. The sexy body of the Series 9 notebook is all encased in the most advanced Duralumin metal alloy which is also used in specialized aircrafts, making it durable yet stylish and ultra light.

When it comes to sexiness, nothing beats the Series 9 Notebook. Because for me, the top features of the Series 9 makes it sexy. The design is the first thing that makes a PC sexy. Samsung Series 9 is made up of Duralumin metal making it durable yet sexy. Another factor that can make a PC sexy for me is portability. Samsung Series 9 laptop is very portable. The 13" screen size equipped with 'SuperBright Plus' is just the right one for me plus the 0.64 inches thickness which makes it thin and sexy. Despite the 0.64 inches thickness it has the powerful 2nd Generation Intel Core i5 Processor inside which makes the laptop powerful too.

Samsung 9 Series Specs:
2nd Generation Intel Core i5 Processor 2537M (1.40 GHz, 3MB; turbo up to 2.3 GHz)

Globe launches 4G Mobile: First in the Philippines

I am pleased to announce to you that 4G technology was launched first by Globe. 4G is the 4th generation of the cellular wireless standards and obviously, it will be faster than 3G.

This rollout, the first phase of which utilizes the global standard HSPA+ or Evolved High-Speed Packet Access. It means that the theoretical download speeds can reach up to 21 mbps with upgradeability for 84Mbps. In Globe HSPA+ network, subscribers are expected to enjoy browsing at an average speed of 4-6 Mbps with even faster peak speeds.  Other 4G technologies include LTE or Long term evolution and WiMax. Last November 2010, Globe completed field trials of 3GPP LTE together with the SingTel Group and NEC Corporation.

Many places across Metro Manila is covered by the Globe 4G technology which includes Marikina, Quezon City, Makati, Pasay, Las Pinas, Taguig and the City of Manila. By the end of this year, Globe expects to increase the 4G presence and it is planned to increase its expansion in 2012.

Globe has already made 4G available in over 1,500 sites in nearly 60 provinces across the Philippines, which covers 365 cities, including Manila, Caloocan, Cainta, Antipolo, Taytay, Plaridel, Cabanatuan, Dasmarinas, Bacoor, Imus, Tanza, Calamba, Batangas City, Cebu City, Cagayan De Oro, and Zamboanga.

I've been a globe user for 6 years and I hope when I get a 4G device, they won't fail me when it comes to speed and reliability. You can't fully utilize the 4G if you're device doesn't support it. It means that your device must be 4G ready. I'm glad to say that the bandwidth capping isn't applicable on the Globe 4G

Now that the Globe 4G has been launched, what are the things that we can do with Globe's 4G network?

1.  Upload and watch videos flawlessly
2.  Browse the internet fast even when you're travelling.
3. Blog wherever you are. Fast!
4. Get in touch with your Social Networking accounts. Fast!
5. And many more

This is another exciting service brought to you by globe. What are your thoughts? Any comments about this guys?

The Samsung Smart TV on at the Event at Seventh High
Smartphones are very popular nowadays, thanks to the apps it makes our smartphones enjoyable and fun to use.   What if we combine the word smart to the word TV? What if there are a lot of things that we can do with the TV?.  Fortunately, Samsung brings us the all new Samsung Smart TV. What 's the difference?, well the Samsung Smart TV offers us a lot of cool features which normal TVs doesn't have.

Since Samsung Smart TV has a lot features, I'll tell you some things that you can do with a Smart TV. Well here they are:

1.  Watch your favorite shows and tweet about it
Samsung Smart TV has a built in social hub which allows you to tweet about it or even post it in your Facebook. Example, when you're watching Maria Clara (which most of my friends especially girls watch) and you saw Clara slap Mara's face. It would be fun if you're the one who tweeted about it first. Fortunately, Samsung Smart TV can help you do that for you. You can watch Maria Clara while tweeting about it without grabbing your laptop or your mobile phone.

2. Movie Marathon w/ Friends in 3D!
Movie Marathon is one of the best things to do to enjoy this boring summer nights. Fortunately, Samsung Smart TV has 3D capabilities. All you need is a 3D glass and connect it to the Smart TV. Oh, did I tell you that you can convert those 2D videos to 3D?, yes, that's possible now. The first in the industry. Imagine watching your old movies converted in to 3D. cool huh?.

3. Skype!
Yep, There's the skype app on the Samsung appstore. It would be fun to use Skype on the large screen. Call your friends or relatives just to brag that you're using the Smart TV for Skype

4. Browse the internet when you're bored
There's a built-in browser in your Smart TV. So if you want to check out the latest news on blogs (Oh BTW, Don't forget to check my blog everyday!). You can use the browser and brag it to your friends. haha just kidding

Well, those are just some of the things that you can do with the Samsung Smart TV. Anyway I want to thank Ms. Janette Toral, Kessa & Adrian
